Werribee offers a number of special interest clubs that Riverwalk residents can take advantage of. Sometimes it can be hard to meet new people when you move to a new community. Riverwalk is a welcoming community where families and friends thrive. To help, we’ve made a list of local clubs where you can meet like-minded people and enjoy all Werribee has to offer.
Bushwalking
The Werribee Bushwalking & Outdoor Club is affiliated with Bushwalking Victoria and members range between the ages of 35 to 75. Aiming to provide at least 1-2 walks each month on Sunday’s, the club also organises occasional overnight walks, weekends away, shutterbug (photography) events, bike rides and social activities.
Tennis Club
The Werribee Tennis Club (WTC) is can be found in the heart of Werribee at Chirnside Park. Offering a range of competitions during the week – all players are welcome, whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned player. Coaching is also available, along with casual court hire.
Book Club
Wyndham City Libraries Book Club offers kits to book clubs with a membership. Book clubs generally have eight members and are free to join. Each club is self-run and has a Coordinator (nominated by the club) who organises borrowing and returns. If you aren’t part of an existing book club, that’s no issue! There is a virtual book club that meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7.30 pm -8.30 pm. To register or find out more, click here.
