Riverwalk has reached another construction milestone, with Development Victoria completing a new four-way signalised intersection on the corner of Alfred Road, Princes Highway and Coldstream Avenue, Werribee.
The new intersection provides an additional access to Riverwalk, which is already home to approximately 2,500 residents. The new intersection has been well-designed to improve traffic conditions, enhancing safety and easier access for residents and visitors to the Riverwalk residential community.
“The new Alfred Road intersection will enhance connectivity and safety outcomes for the community, and will also create a new access point for the Riverwalk estate, which is home to Riverwalk Primary School, and Riverwalk’s popular Village Park.” Said Penny Forrest, Group Head Property, Development Victoria.
“Development Victoria is committed to delivering affordable homes, open space, and key infrastructure for the community as Melbourne’s outer suburbs continue to grow.” This intersection project was identified as one of Wyndham City’s key infrastructure projects in its Wyndham West Development Contributions Plan.
